Judson Powell

     My name is Judson Powell and I am a senior in Poultry Science Production at Auburn University.  I am from Pike Road, Alabama.  My love for agriculture came at a young age.  I grew up helping my grandparents on their farm which is near Andalusia, Alabama.  They raise cattle and grow corn, peanuts, and cotton.  The thought of poultry science came when I was in my first year of college at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where I was studying exercise science.  I realized that I wanted to be in agriculture.  I looked through all the majors in the College of Agriculture and when I saw how many opportunities there are in the poultry industry, it was as though I had found a match.  Since I've been at Auburn, I have loved learning about poultry and all of the opportunities that it presents.
